ABOUT THE DESTINATION
Agrigento is a hill city on the south coast of Sicily, best known for the Valley of the Temples, a UNESCO-listed ridge of well-preserved Doric Greek temples from the 6th and 5th centuries BC. The Temple of Concordia, the Temple of Hera and the ruined Temple of Zeus stand above almond groves, with the modern town and the Scala dei Turchi white cliffs nearby.
