COUNTRY GUIDE
From the Belgrade confluence to Novi Sad’s fortress, Šumadija’s hills, the ski slopes of Kopaonik and the medieval south — one country at the crossroads of Central and Southeast Europe.
ABOUT THE COUNTRY
Serbia sits at the crossroads of Central and Southeast Europe: the Danube–Sava confluence capital of Belgrade, the fortress city of Novi Sad and the fertile Vojvodina plain, the rolling orchards and monasteries of Šumadija and western Serbia, the mountains and valleys of the south and east, and the medieval heritage of Kosovo and Metohija in the southwest. Our Serbian atlas is organised into five editorial regions — Belgrade, Vojvodina, Šumadija & Western Serbia, Southern & Eastern Serbia, and Kosovo & Metohija — each anchored by a representative destination. The geographic foundation is in place; fuller destination guides are being written as we travel.
An initial selection of destinations is available now. Detailed regional guides, attractions, itineraries and practical information will be added as Destination360 expands.
