ABOUT THE DESTINATION
Cefalù is a small town on the north coast of Sicily, wedged between a long sandy beach and the sheer limestone cliff of La Rocca. Its 12th-century Norman cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, holds some of the finest Byzantine mosaics in Sicily, while the medieval old town of alleys and fishermen’s houses sits beneath the ruined temple on the cliff top.
