ABOUT THIS EXPERIENCE

Camping on Corfu means three addresses. The walkers’ favourite is Camping Paleokastritsa — terraces among old olive trees above the west-coast bays, on the route of the Corfu Trail’s northern stages, simple by design with a small pool and free solar-hot showers. On the east coast, Karda Beach at Dassia puts 130 shaded pitches right by the sand and the bus stop, and Dionysus Camping Village at Dafnila adds 40 rental cabins and the island’s longest season. Book ahead for July and August.
