ABOUT THE DESTINATION
The Langhe is the wine and truffle country of southern Piedmont, a UNESCO-listed landscape of rolling hills planted with Nebbiolo vines around the towns of Alba, Barolo and Barbaresco. Medieval hilltop villages, castles and family cellars dot the ridges between the Tanaro river and the Apennines, producing some of Italy’s most celebrated red wines and the white truffle of Alba.
