ABOUT THE DESTINATION
Niš is the largest city of southern Serbia and one of the oldest cities in Europe, the birthplace of Constantine the Great. Its Mediana archaeological site, the sprawling Ottoman Niš Fortress on the Nišava river and the haunting Ćele Kula (Skull Tower) make it the historical anchor of the south, as well as the practical gateway to the valleys and mountains of eastern Serbia.
