ABOUT THE DESTINATION

Portovenere is a medieval village at the tip of the Ligurian promontory opposite the Cinque Terre, a UNESCO World Heritage Site of narrow alleys, the Romanesque church of St Peter on the cliff and the Doria castle above the harbour. The nearby islands of Palmaria, Tino and Tinetto complete one of the most scenic stretches of the Ligurian coast.
