ABOUT THE DESTINATION
Prizren is a historic town on the Bistrica river in the southwest of Serbia’s Kosovo and Metohija region, its Ottoman-era core of stone bridges, mosques and cobbled quarters rising toward the hilltop Kaljaja fortress. Orthodox monasteries and churches — among them the 14th-century Bogorodica Ljeviška and the nearby Patriarchate of Peć — stand alongside the Ottoman heritage in one of the region’s most layered small cities.
