ABOUT THE DESTINATION
Tropea is a clifftop town on the Tyrrhenian coast of Calabria, perched above pale sand beaches and the church of Santa Maria dell’Isola on a sea stack. Known for its red onions and its turquoise water, it is the best-known resort on the Costa degli Dei, the “Coast of the Gods” at the toe of the Italian boot.
