Paragliding from Vršački breg

ABOUT THIS EXPERIENCE

The ridge above Vršac does something the rest of the flat province cannot: it catches the wind and holds it. Stable airflows and the open Banat horizon have made Vršački breg one of the best-known paragliding sites in this part of Europe — on good weekends the sky above the vineyards fills with wings. Tandem flights with certified local pilots need no experience: a short briefing, a few steps down the grassy slope, and the plain unrolls below — the town, the Tower, the vineyard grid and, on clear days, the Romanian Carpathians.
