ABOUT THIS EXPERIENCE
The Path of the Gods, the Sentiero degli Dei, is the high cliff path that runs from Bomerano above Praiano to Nocelle above Positano, and the most celebrated walk on the Amalfi Coast. It follows an old mule path along the top of the cliffs, 600 metres above the sea, with the whole coast spread out below — Positano, the Faraglioni of Capri, the Li Galli islands and the sea. The path is about 7 kilometres and takes three to four hours, with a few short scrambles and one notable descent at the end to Nocelle. It is the one walk that most clearly shows why the coast is a UNESCO site, and the best way to see it away from the road and the crowds.
