ABOUT THIS EXPERIENCE
FICO Eataly World is the world’s largest food park, built on the site of the old wholesale fruit and vegetable market outside Bologna, a 100,000-square-metre complex that brings together farms, factories, markets and restaurants of Italian food under one roof. It is a place to see how Italian food is made — the cows being milked, the cheese being spun, the pasta being rolled, the hams being cured — and to eat it in the restaurants and buy it in the market. It is the most complete single place to understand the food of Emilia-Romagna and of Italy, and it is reached by a free shuttle from the centre.
