ABOUT THIS EXPERIENCE
WHAT YOU’LL EXPERIENCE
What you’ll experience
The Millstätter Alpe holds three working alpine pastures and a family of huts reachable by stroller-friendly forest paths (the Sonnwiesen round trip) or the 7 km Nockhöhensteig ridge — and the Alpe-Adria-Trail crosses here on its 690 km run from the Grossglockner to the sea. Huts serve Kasnudeln, Speik lemonade and cheese tastings; the Panoramaschaukel swing at 2,063 m looks straight down the lake.
