ABOUT THIS ITINERARY
One day on Pelješac holds the peninsula’s two halves: the fortified and salted east at Ston, and the wine country of the ridge and channel at the west. This itinerary walks the walls before the heat, eats the bay’s oysters at their source, crosses the island’s spine to the Dingač terraces for a cellar afternoon, and finishes at the channel coast with the ferry-light view toward Korčula. Times are guidance, not a schedule; a car is needed.
OVERVIEW
The route at a glance
The day runs east to west: Ston’s walls and pans first, the Mali Ston oyster lunch second, the ridge road and the Dingač wine country through the afternoon, and the channel coast at dusk. Every leg is short-drive; the order puts the unshaded walk in the coolest hours and the tastings after them.

2 hoursDrive the ridge road through Janjina to Potomje and through the Dingač tunnel to the seaward terraces — the peninsula’s signature landscape.
