ABOUT THIS EXPERIENCE

Sistiana is the swimming bay of the cliff coast: water deep and glass-clear inside the headland, a dive centre at the beach, SUP and kayak rentals that let you explore the cliffs from below — the Rilke Trail upside down — and a row of beach bars for the sunset aperitivo that ends every good day here.

WHAT YOU’LL EXPERIENCE

What you’ll experience

You swim off the beach or the flat rocks toward PortoPiccolo, rent a kayak or SUP to paddle beneath the cliffs (the castle from the water is the coast’s best angle), and finish with a spritz on the promenade as the cliffs turn gold. Divers take the boat to the reef sites of the headland.

WHY IT MATTERS
