ABOUT THIS EXPERIENCE
Smederevo sits on one of the Danube’s most rideable stretches: the right bank’s quiet roads run through the vineyard villages upstream — Landol, Kolari, Vinča’s terrace — and down to the gravel beaches and fish farms downstream. The signature ride is upstream to Vinča, about 30 km, linking two of the Belgrade region’s great monuments — the Neolithic tell and the last Serbian capital — in one afternoon of flat riverside pedalling.
