ABOUT THIS EXPERIENCE

A walk through Trogir is a short circuit of the whole island — the cathedral and the Radovan portal, the stone lanes and palaces, and the Kamerlengo fortress at the harbour end. Because the old town is an island that can be walked end to end in half an hour, the circuit is a perfect half-day from Split, with time for a coffee on the waterfront and a swim on Čiovo.

WHAT YOU’LL EXPERIENCE

What you’ll experience

You cross the bridge onto the island, walk to the cathedral square for the Radovan portal and the bell tower, wander the stone lanes to the Kamerlengo fortress for the view, and return along the waterfront promenade. The whole circuit is short and flat, and can be extended with a swim on the Čiovo beaches across the bridge.
