ABOUT THIS EXPERIENCE

The road from Kraljevo to Studenica is itself a monument: the Ibar gorge was the coronation road, strung with fortresses that guarded the kingdom’s artery. Maglič (13th c.) stands above the river in full silhouette — the best-preserved medieval fort in Serbia — and smaller towers mark the valley’s line. The drive is 60 minutes of history with the windows down.
