ABOUT THIS ATTRACTION
The spa park is the town’s stage: lawns, the mineral-water pavilions, and the stone sculptures of the “Mramor i zvuci” festival — artists from around the world have left their works here since 1966, and the park reads as an open-air museum. The mineral water (light, drinkable, the town’s pride) flows at the pavilions.
HISTORY & BACKGROUND
The story behind it
The springs were formalized in the 1860s; the festival began in 1966 and ran for decades — each year’s symposium left the stone works in place. The park is now Serbia’s largest sculpture ensemble in a spa setting.
