Cycling the Ropa valley and the west villages

The Ropa valley is Corfu’s cycling heart: the flat river plain below Giannades and the hill villages carries low-traffic lanes between the olive groves, with the bike-rental shops at Agios Ioannis marking the trailhead. The loop links the valley’s farm roads with the viewpoints above Liapades and the bakery stops of the interior villages — half a day, family-friendly, best outside the July–August heat.
