ABOUT THIS EXPERIENCE

Bubanj is the WWII memorial: three giant concrete fists rise over the execution hill of 1942 — among Yugoslavia’s strongest memorial sculptures. Čegar, the mountain above, keeps the 1809 battle’s monument and the region’s best short hike — the view from the ridge runs the whole Morava valley.
