Sea kayaking the Rovinj archipelago and Golden Cape

Rovinj is the best paddling frontage in Istria: a fourteen-island archipelago scattered off the old town, limestone cliffs under St Euphemia, and the Golden Cape (Punta Corrente) park closing the bay to the south. Outfitters on the harbour run guided half-day loops through the islets with snorkel stops; the water is clearest June–September, and morning departures beat both the wind and the swimmer traffic.
