The Lungomare is Vlorë’s seafront promenade and the centre of its summer life: a broad palm-lined walk along the New Beach (Plazhi i Ri) with cafés, seafront restaurants, small beach clubs and family activity running the length of the bay. It is the city’s most pleasant walk at any hour — coffee in the morning, the evening passegiata after the heat — and the practical base for beach days without leaving town.
