The cable car up Mount Srđ is the great Dubrovnik viewpoint — a short ride from just outside the old town to the top of the hill behind it, with the full panorama over the walled city, the water and the islands from Elaphite to Cavtat. It is the view that shows Dubrovnik as a single fortified whole, and the natural complement to the wall walk below.
