ROUTE
Europe’s Atlantic–Black Sea cycle route follows the Danube through Serbia — the flat-to-rolling corridor past Viminacium, Golubac and the Đerdap gorge.
ABOUT THIS ROUTE
The EuroVelo 6 — Europe’s Atlantic–Black Sea route — enters Serbia along the Danube and runs the country’s great cycling corridor: the flat river stages past Viminacium and Kostolac, the fortress at Golubac, and the dramatic gorge stages of the Đerdap National Park toward Kladovo. The corridor is signed and mapped by the European Cyclists’ Federation’s Serbian partner; the stages are mostly paved low-traffic roads along the river, and the gorge stage is the scenic highlight of the whole Serbian network.
