Things to do
Drink Bosnian coffee the slow way in the old bazaar
Bosnian coffee is brewed slowly in a copper džezva and served in a small fildžan with sugar and rahat lokum — less a drink than a social ritual you sit down for, shared across Bosnia & Herzegovina and easy to find in the cafés of Mostar’s old bazaar.
Mostar
Eat ćevapi where locals queue for them
Ćevapi — small skinless sausages of grilled minced meat, served in a warm lepinja flatbread with raw onion and kajmak — are Sarajevo’s everyday dish and the thing the city’s old bazaar does best. The ritual is to find the tiny ćevabdžinica where the queue is longest, order by the piece, and eat standing or perched on a stool.
Sarajevo
Bosnian coffee, the slow way
Bosnian coffee is a ritual, not a takeaway — a copper pot, a tiny cup and an unhurried half hour in a bazaar café.

A gentle educational visit within the designated visitor infrastructure at Karaotok — not a measured hiking route, with no invented length, duration or accessibility guarantee.

Bukovac and Bogišić Art Heritage Visit

Cavtat

A walk from Cavtat’s waterfront up through the Rat Peninsula to St Rocco Cemetery and the Račić Family Mausoleum by Ivan Meštrović, continuing along the wooded coastal path and its viewpoints.
Cavtat
Camping the Konavle Coast: the Molunat Auto Camps
Cavtat itself has no campsite — the region’s camping lives 20 km south in Molunat, a small fishing village at the tip of the Konavle coast, where simple auto camps sit right on the shore.
Cavtat
Raft the Vrbas river canyon
The Vrbas carves a deep limestone gorge through the hills on the edge of Banja Luka, and rafting its rapids — from gentle stretches to grade IV white water — is the city’s signature outdoor experience, run by licensed local operators.
Banja Luka
Ski or learn to ski at Babanovac in winter (December into early spring)
A family-friendly winter ski day at Babanovac on the northern side of Vlašić — lifts, groomed slopes and mountain accommodation close to the Lašva valley.
