Things to do
Fortica Panorama and Skywalk Visit
A flexible visit to the Fortica viewpoint and glass skywalk above Mostar, giving a broad panorama over the city, the Neretva valley and the surrounding mountains. The viewpoint visit is separate from the zipline, climbing, via ferrata and other paid adventure activities that may operate on the hillside, whose availability, access and suitability must be confirmed locally.
Mostar
Eat ćevapi where locals queue for them
Ćevapi — small skinless sausages of grilled minced meat, served in a warm lepinja flatbread with raw onion and kajmak — are Sarajevo’s everyday dish and the thing the city’s old bazaar does best. The ritual is to find the tiny ćevabdžinica where the queue is longest, order by the piece, and eat standing or perched on a stool.
Sarajevo
Hear the stories of the siege from a local guide
The siege of Sarajevo (1992–95) is recent living memory, and the most meaningful way to understand it is to walk the city with a local who lived through it — the front lines, the sniper alleys, the memorials and the Tunnel of Hope.
Sarajevo
Camp in the national park — Camp Buk and the riverside sites
Sleep inside the park: Camp Buk’s 10,000 m² of Una riverbank at Kulen Vakuf — room for 200 pitches, bungalows and a riverside restaurant — plus the quiet sites toward Martin Brod, with the waterfalls as your alarm clock.
Una National Park
Hike through the mountains and landscapes of Sutjeska
A walking journey across the wider mountain landscape of Sutjeska — the canyon, the high peaks, the Zelengora plateau and its lakes — the experience that ties the park’s separate sights into one wilderness.
Sutjeska National Park
Photograph Blidinje Lake and Dugo Polje
A respectful landscape and heritage photography experience across the lake and the Dugo Polje necropolis — changing light, mountain horizons and distance kept from fragile features.
Blidinje Nature Park
Walk through the Dugo Polje cultural landscape
A gentle cultural-landscape visit through the Dugo Polje necropolis and its pasture — a quiet walk among the stećci, not a measured or mapped hiking route.
Blidinje Nature Park
Plan a guided mountain day on Čvrsnica or Vran
A separately planned, guided high-mountain day on the Čvrsnica or Vran massif — qualified local guidance, current weather, seasonal snow, suitable equipment and a route matched to ability.
Blidinje Nature Park
Walking the Boardwalk Trails
Walk the marked boardwalk routes (A–H) over the lakes and between the waterfalls — the signature Plitvice experience, from a two-hour loop to a full-day circuit.
Plitvice Lakes
Sunset at Savudrija Cape
The coast-road drive to Croatia’s oldest lighthouse for sunset over the open sea toward Italy — with fish at the konoba by the light.
Umag
Dubrovnik Game of Thrones Filming Locations Walk
A walking route connecting the real Dubrovnik landmarks used among the filming locations for King’s Landing in Game of Thrones — Fort Lovrijenac, the West Harbour and Pile Bay, the city walls and Minčeta area, the Stradun and the Jesuit Steps — read against the city’s genuine history.
Dubrovnik
Lokrum Island Nature and Monastery Visit
A short boat crossing to the protected wooded island of Lokrum, with its Benedictine monastery complex, botanical garden, rocky coast and saltwater lake, and the views back towards Dubrovnik — the green counterpoint to the stone of the Old City.
Dubrovnik
Hike Mount Srđ on the Old Footpath
Climb Mount Srđ on foot from the Bosanka side — the old footpath to the summit cross and the Imperial Fortress, the hike alternative to the cable car with the full panorama over the walled city.
Dubrovnik
Cycling the Konavle Valley
Ride the flat green floor of the Konavle valley below the Sniježnica ridge — Dubrovnik’s rural hinterland of stone villages, the Ljuta river mills and Konavoski dvori — an easy half-day by bike from the coast.
Dubrovnik
Motorcycle Ride: the Coastal Road and Konavle Loop
A rider’s half-day loop out of Dubrovnik — the D8 coastal road over the pass to Cavtat, the back lanes of the Konavle valley and the return over Gruda, mixing sea cliffs, switchbacks and empty valley roads.
Dubrovnik
Hike Hum above Vela Luka
Climb the olive-grove hill behind Vela Luka to the abandoned Habsburg fortress on Hum — the island’s best west-end viewpoint over Hvar, Lastovo and the open Adriatic.
Korčula
