The Đerdap touring kayak — the Danube by paddle

Below the Kazan the Danube opens into Europe’s broadest river reaches — the flat, motor-launch–calm water that makes Đerdap Serbia’s touring-kayak ground. The two-day expedition format runs Donji Milanovac to Kladovo with the overnight at the river villages; the outfitters in Kladovo and Donji Milanovac run guided paddles and rent kayaks and SUPs from the beaches. The Lepenski Vir terrace and the Trajan’s Table viewpoint pass on the water line.
