Mljet’s camping is one small, simple auto camp at Pomena — a fifteen-minute walk from the national park gate and the lakes, under the pines a few steps from the bay.

You camp in the shade a few minutes from the Great Lake’s bike trail and the Pomena konobas — the park at dusk and dawn, after the day boats leave, is the reason to sleep here rather than day-trip from Dubrovnik.

Good to know before you go

A small, basic site — pitches and a few rental tents, simple sanitary blocks, no pool or entertainment; the park, the bay and the village restaurants are the facilities.

WHY IT MATTERS

Why it matters

It is the only way to sleep at camp prices inside walking distance of the national park — and the park’s evenings are its best hours.

Access
The camp runs roughly May to early October; pitch prices for two run about €25–40; book July–August ahead — the site is small; wild camping is strictly illegal in Croatia and inside the national park.
