Things to do

Watch the local divers leap 24 metres from Stari Most

Each summer, trained members of Mostar’s diving club climb to the apex of Stari Most and leap into the cold Neretva twenty-four metres below — a tradition documented for generations and the city’s most distinctive living custom.

Mostar

Fortica Panorama and Skywalk Visit

A flexible visit to the Fortica viewpoint and glass skywalk above Mostar, giving a broad panorama over the city, the Neretva valley and the surrounding mountains. The viewpoint visit is separate from the zipline, climbing, via ferrata and other paid adventure activities that may operate on the hillside, whose availability, access and suitability must be confirmed locally.

Mostar

Explore Jajce’s historic center, fortress and waterfall

A walking loop through the heart of Jajce — the fortress on the hill, the old town spilling down to the gorge, and the Pliva waterfall at the bottom — is the one experience every visitor should do.

Jajce

Discover Trebinje museum and literary heritage

A focused experience of Trebinje’s museum and literary heritage — the Museum of Herzegovina founded from Jovan Dučić’s idea and collection, and the poet’s grave and legacy at the hilltop Hercegovačka Gračanica — read together as the town’s intellectual and literary thread.

Trebinje

Photograph Trebinje from river to hillside

A photography experience that follows Trebinje from the Trebišnjica and Kastel to the moved Arslanagić Bridge, the red-roofed town and the Crkvina viewpoint above — a sequence of river, stone, rooftops and hillside rather than a fixed route.

Trebinje

Explore the Una’s waterfalls and river landscapes

A self-guided park circuit linking the Una’s waterfalls, boardwalks and swimming pools — Štrbački Buk, the Martin Brod falls and the calmer upper river — the way to see the park on foot and at your own pace.

Una National Park

Camp in the national park — Camp Buk and the riverside sites

Sleep inside the park: Camp Buk’s 10,000 m² of Una riverbank at Kulen Vakuf — room for 200 pitches, bungalows and a riverside restaurant — plus the quiet sites toward Martin Brod, with the waterfalls as your alarm clock.

Una National Park

Hike through the mountains and landscapes of Sutjeska

A walking journey across the wider mountain landscape of Sutjeska — the canyon, the high peaks, the Zelengora plateau and its lakes — the experience that ties the park’s separate sights into one wilderness.

Sutjeska National Park

Panoramic Train Ride

Ride the park’s panoramic electric train along the upper valley — an included shuttle that links trailheads and saves the climb back up from the lower end.

Plitvice Lakes

Rovinj Old Town and Batana Heritage Walk

A guided-route heritage walk from the working harbour and the House of Batana, through Balbi’s Arch and up Grisia Street to the Church of St Euphemia, tracing Rovinj’s former-island street plan, Venetian past and living batana fishing culture.

Rovinj

Ninety steps up the 18th-century campanile for the classic panorama: the red rooftops of the Roman grid, the harbour, and the sea to the horizon.

Poreč

Museum of Pazin Castle

Pazin

Climb to the castle ruins above the town

Samobor

Hike Mount Srđ on the Old Footpath

Climb Mount Srđ on foot from the Bosanka side — the old footpath to the summit cross and the Imperial Fortress, the hike alternative to the cable car with the full panorama over the walled city.

Dubrovnik

Cycling the Konavle Valley

Dubrovnik

Hike Hum above Vela Luka

Climb the olive-grove hill behind Vela Luka to the abandoned Habsburg fortress on Hum — the island’s best west-end viewpoint over Hvar, Lastovo and the open Adriatic.
